Violence in the Workplace Prevention Plan

 

Violence against health care workers has been escalating over the last several years. This includes occurrences against employees in the home care and hospice arena.  OSHA, which updated its requirements for health care workers a few years ago, is clear under the General Duty Clause, that employers have a responsibility to protect their employees from violence. This plan, created specifically for home care and hospice employers, may be used as is, or, may be personalized by using PDF editing software. This includes a Risk Assessment form.
