Preparedness is defined by DHS/FEMA as “a continuous cycle of planning, organizing, training, equipping, exercising, evaluating, and taking corrective action in an effort to ensure effective coordination during incident response.” Planning makes it possible to manage the entire life cycle of a potential crisis. Strategic and operational planning establishes priorities, identifies expected levels of performance and capability requirements, provides the standard for assessing capabilities, and helps stakeholders learn their roles.

Trish Tulloch is a seasoned clinician and a certified coder with more than 30 years in healthcare industry, including twelve years in home health management and more than thirteen years in health care consulting.  Her diverse experience includes leadership roles in both Home Health and Hospice.   She currently consults with multiple health care organizations and agencies to meet regulatory and accrediting standards.

Trish is a Registered Nurse with code credentials from the Board of Advanced Medical Coding and is a nationally recognized speaker who provides both clinical and administrative expertise to agencies across the country.  She has received rave reviews from conference attendees and is a frequent presenter sponsored by professional, state and national organizations.
