This toolkit is a companion to the manual/workbook 600A. It was designed to assist agencies in complying with the CMS Federal Regulations for Disaster Preparedness. It includes a sample policies such as evacuation, active shooters, ransomware, and transportation levels. It also includes checklists for PACE, home care and hospice for compliance readiness. The toolkit also addresses HIPAA in a disaster, 1135 waivers, cybersecurity. There are a number of documentation forms including coalition and partnership documentation and staff location.
This manual arrives in a type-able PDF file. The agency does have the right to convert the file into a Word document to make it more customizable.
